Muhammad Mokaev ‘humbled’ UFC Atlanta star who vowed to smash him in dominant 58-second UFC debut

Muhammad Mokaev settled as a flying weight to look at by running a hunter that set to compete at UFC Atlanta.

Nowadays Mokaev is from the UFC. That is despite the British hunter born in Dagestan who wins all seven of his trips in the Octagon.

Due to factors outside the cage, UFC CEO Dana White opted for the renewal of Mokaev's contract, a decision that some people lost in the MMA community.

However, others supported the call because of the way of Mokaev's last two victories, who saw him net matte decisions about Alex Perez and Manel Kape.

But Mokaev's UFC record certainly has its highlights, and perhaps the best thing to be less than a minute in his debut.

Muhammad Mokaev needed only 58 seconds to submit Cody Durden to his UFC debut

After an undefeated amateur career, Mokaev arrived in the UFC during the London event in March 2022. There, 'The Punisher' was given the task of opening the map against Cody Durden.

The American flight weight is not short of self -confidence and came from a controversy in his victory over Aoriqileng. Durden was criticized on a large scale after he had stated during his Octagon interview that he “had to send him back to China, where he came from.”

With that in mind, and after a number of heated fighting week, interactions that promised to 'break' Mokaev on Fight Night, the debutant wanted to pay his rival for those words.

The young person was successful in that respect and opened his UFC account on Lighting Mood by durning with a flying knee and to serve him on the ground in just 58 seconds.

During an appearance on the MMA hour with Ariel Helwani a few days later, Mokaev said he hoped that durden was “humiliated” by experience in the capital of England.

“I realized, I am something like:” Hey, I just dropped him, like almost a TKO, “and then I thought they might say it is a happy kick, punch – I am so, let's subject him,” Mokaev said. “So I finished it, I did everything that was possible in about a minute. There is nothing else to prove. And … we let him listen.

“He spoke bad about this Chinese man in UFC. I said to him: 'Listen, if you continue, we will send you – I will send you to you tonight [the U.S.] Embassy and they will take you back to the US 'but if he is canceled, he is already [been] humiliated, it's enough. Don't have to take him with him [more]It might be a bit of bullying. But let him stay there, maybe he will be a better person. '

The pair later abolished their hostilities after training together at the American top team in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Cody Durden returns to UFC Atlanta while Muhammad Mokaev is outside the promotion

Mokaev won his only fight since leaving UFC and hopes to return to MMA's leading promotion soon. In the meantime, Durden has rapidly approaches his next Octagon assignment.

After winning four consecutive fights after the loss against Mokaev, Durden has now lost three of his last four attacks. This includes his most recent performance, in which the 34-year-old was equipped by Joshua van Op UFC 310.

Durden will now want to return to a winning series, starting at the UFC Fight Night event on Saturday in Atlanta.

The ATT-TREADIVAL FILLE WEIGHT will take the walk on the Prelims to face Jose Ochoa, a Peruvian prospect that his UFC debut lost against the highly promoted Lone'er Kavanagh in Macau last November.
