Joe Rogan pleaded with UFC Atlanta star to retire following three brutal KO losses in a row

Cody Garbrandt was once considered one of the future stars of the UFC when he won gold in 2016.

When Cody Garbrandt collided in Dominick Cruz in 2016 against one of the Bantam weight lights, nobody expected him to continue and produce one of the greatest title versions in the history of promotion.

The next Saturday in UFC Atlanta the former UFC Bantamweight Champion will return to action when he takes on veteran Brazilian, Raoni Barcelos.

'No Love's' Last Outing came to UFC 300 when he will compete against the former UFC Flyweight Champion DEIVESON Figueiredo, unfortunately lost via a second round entry.

Cody Garbrandt suffered horrible downfall after all time

Despite the impressive rise of Garbrandt, the Bantamweight ranks and the subsequent title win in his career, things quickly went downhill for the hard-hitting star.

A year after the depreciation of 'The Dominator', Garbrandt was planned to defend his title against his old rival, TJ Dillashaw.

Garbrandt and Dillashaw had a huge rivalry because Dillashaw used to be a training partner from Garbrandt before he left the gym and joined a new team.

In their collision at UFC 217, Garbrandt Dillashaw settled in the last seconds of the round, which saved the challenger to be ready. And then in round two, Dillashaw came out and scored a knockout victory.

A little less than a year later on UFC 227 and Dillashaw, the two were again an impressive knockout, where Garbrandt handed Garbrandt Back-to-Back losses for the first time in his career.

Unfortunately, however, it went from bad to worse for 'No Love' who tried to climb back on the Bantamweightladder, but he got his third knock -out loss in a row when he fought Pedro Munhoz on UFC 235.

Joe Rogan begged Garbrandt to retire after three brutal ko losses

At one point, Garbrandt was labeled as 'The UFC's Next Star' by UFC Baas, Dana White, but after three brutal losses in a row, fans called for the star to retire before things got worse.

UFC icon, Joe Rogan also claimed that he hoped that 'no love' would retire after his loss against Munhoz.

“Tough Road for Cody,” said Rogan for Garbrandt's fight against Trevin Jones in 2023.

“Another man who at one point was the elite of the elite. Someone eliminated him very early in his career, really bad … With Cody Garbrandt after all those KO loses, you have to wonder, how much more does he have?

“When a man gets a gang of the times, such as, there are many people who get it in time at some point and you are like:” someone has to intervene and prevent this. “” Rogan continued.

Garbrandt recovered from three brutal ko's with an incredible victory over Raphael Assuncao, but then got two brutal losses against Rob Font and Kai Kara-France.
