Kamaru Usman returns from an extensive Stint outside the Octagon to take on Joaquin Buckley in the main event of UFC Atlanta.
The former UFC champion Welterweight is fighting for the first time since 2023, after Kamaru lost to Leon Edwards (twice) and Khamzat Chimaev.
Although Usman does not feel 100% healthy in the fight, he hopes to end his losing series by beating Joaquin Buckley in UFC Atlanta.
If he wins the fight on June 14, Usman focuses on a fight with Belal Muhammad, looking at another UFC -Welterweight title fight before his career ends.

Kamaru Usman vs Joaquin Buckley Fight predicted by bloody elbow staff
Jamie Theodosi: I think Joaquin Buckley is part of the new guard on 170 pounds, and I think Kamaru Usman could get into sport towards the end of his career.
With 'the Nigerian nightmare' that has been inactive for so long, I cannot see him returning in good enough health to form a threat to Buckley.
- Prediction – Joaquin Buckley wins through a decision
Jordan Ellis: Kamaru Usman has recently looked far beyond his Prime. Adding a long dismissal to that will not give him any favors.
I see things that are difficult for him against the piece against Joaquin Buckley, who will achieve his greatest victory so far by KO/TKO at UFC Atlanta.
- Prediction – Joaquin Buckley wins via Ko
Donagh Corby: This is difficult to call. On the one hand, Kamaru Usman's knee problems are well documented and were clear as a day in his defeats for Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev.
But there is a serious thing to do that he defeated the Swede or at least got a draw, the last time, and Joaquin Buckley is not Khamzat Chimaev.
If Usman has had the required time to restore inactivity for the last two years and appears on top form in Atlanta, he should be far too strong for Buckley
- Prediction – Kamaru Usman wins through a unanimous decision
