Ex-UFC star lands vicious one punch knockout in first fight since shock release on Jon Jones’ DBX 2

Jairzinho Rozen bush reminded fans how malignant he can be with a stunning second round knockout on DBX 2 tonight.

The former UFC Heavyweight Competer was surprisingly released earlier this year by the promotion after a decision loss for Sergei Pavlovich. And he did not spend long on licking his wounds, which was directly on his way to the dirty boxing championship of Jon Jones and Mike Perry.

Rose bush had won two of his last three fights and had only lost twice once in a while under the UFC banner. Fortunately for Perry and Jones, he showed his punishing force tonight and booked a chance of the very first DBX Heavyweight title.

Before his first fight away from the Octagon, Jairzinho rose bush took up against little -known Brazilian Victor Cardoso in the Headliner of DBX 2 in the Hangar in Miami. In the early stages, Cardoso looked solid and used his Muay Thai movements to sometimes confuse rose bush.

However, it did not take too long for rose bush to find his reach and when he did, he landed a wing right hand that sent Cardoso to the Canvas. Ground and pound is within the dirty boxing rules set and the referee almost wore him to the deck.

But it was all essentially for the show when rose bush landed a few light recordings that ensured that the competition was thrown away. It marks its first victory since August last year and his first legitimate knockout since December 2022.

Earlier in the night, Robinson 'The Wolf' Perez landed a fairly impressive own knockout against UFC and PFL veteran Alex Nicholson. During the fighting week, Perez had made a name for himself with intense garbage conversation and was rewarded by the promotion with a guaranteed title fight against rose bush.

He was even left in the ring for a face-off with 'Bigi Boy', with whom he immediately argued and pushed, so that the couple was dragged apart. Allegedly the couple shared a tense meeting in a lift during the Vechtweek, and rose bush seemed more than happy to book the fight.

Perez's record may not look that on paper, but he was able to show impressive movement and Scottish selection for his size against Nicholson. And he now gets his chance of gold in the main event of the next dirty boxing event, which is planned for July 26.
