Despite their bad blood, Belal Muhammad was impressed by the performance of Kamaru Usman at UFC Atlanta.
Three former champions were in action at the UFC event on Saturday, with Rose Namajunas, Cody Garbrandt and Usman all looking back to jump back.
After 'No Love' had failed in that goal and 'Thug Rose' succeeded, 'the Nigerian nightmare' closed in the latter in comfortable way.
Usman dominated Joaquin Buckley in UFC Atlanta and closed the map with a skewed decision after five rounds in State Farm Arena.
Among those who looked up was a colleague -for example champion. After the podcast exchange of Usman and Muhammad increased their bad blood, 'Remember the name' made his wish to combat the legendary good weight.
Congratulations, you will see soon

Belal Muhammad admits that Kamaru Usman proved that he is still 'belonging to the top' at UFC Atlanta
After he called Usman on social media and shot back when he was again fired by 'the Nigerian nightmare', Muhammad eliminated the hostility.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the Palestinian American gave a serious assessment of the performance of Usman in Atlanta.
Muhammad praised the victory of his rival and acknowledged that the 38-year-old proved a lot of mass with his dominance about Buckley and the first victory since 2021.
“Usman still has juice in the tank,” said Muhammad.
“A big fight for him. Three losses in a row, people had all the questions … “Does he still have it? Does he still have knees? “I think he went outside and he proved that he still has it.
“He still belongs to the top of the division with the best guys in the world,” Muhammad added. “He looked good. He looked very smart.”
Muhammad is currently looking for his next opponent after losing the Welterweight title in his first defense.
Kamaru Usman continues to reject the callouts of Belal Muhammad
For now it does not seem that Mohammed will get his wish to share the cage with Usman.
Prior to his long-awaited return to the circle of the winner, 'the Nigerian nightmare' closed the conversation opposite Mohammed and wondered what the matchup could do for his current UFC goals.
And that feeling took place in UFC Atlanta, with Usman Mohammed brutally mocked when asked about the potential fight during his press conference after the fight.
“Who is it? Who is that? Then,” said Usman.
He later explained what he wants: the place opposite the winner of the expected first title defense of Jack della Maddalena against the old lightweight King Islam Makhachev.
“Absolutely (I want the title shot now). Like I said, I only had to use one skill tonight and everyone knows I can disable you with my hands,” Usman said.
“Let's face it, I am the largest (name) in the division and this is about entertainment, the UFC is an entertainment company.
“You want to make the biggest fight, it will be the winner of (Della Maddalena) vs Islam.”
With people like Shavkat Rakhmonov, Sean Brady and Ian Machado Garry who all circle over the welter weight gold, it is still to be seen whether the UFC will grant the wish of the USMAN title.
