Some UFC colleagues from Jon Jones are among those frustrated by the attitude of the heavyweight champion about fighting Tom Aspinall.
The Goat -Competent has only defended his title once in the two years that he has held him. Against the wishes of many who hoped to see the heavyweight belts unite, Jones faced Stipe Miocic on UFC 309 instead.
Even after beating the now retired legend, Jones continues to talk about fighting Aspinall, the interim champion, and instead he suggested an imminent pension from the sport.
The constant uncertainty and the apparent indecision of the champion have left much frustrated, resulting in a viral petition that the UFC evokes to strip Jones from his title.
And the annoyance apparently went further than just Aspinall and the fan base.

Miesha Tate says that Jon Jones Tom Aspinall dives
A number of current and former hunters have expressed their dissatisfaction with the treatment of Jones of the heavyweight Titelscenario, from the former rivals of the champion, Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen, to the active contenders of his division, Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov.
The newest who gave their take was ex-Enc Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate for Women, and she falls on the side of those accusing Jones of the interim title holder of his weight class.
“I feel that Jon Jones Tom Aspinall is dear,” Tate told Esports Insider.
“I think Jon Jones is an incredibly smart man and he is a technician and he knows when he sees someone who would be difficult to defeat. And I think he is not confident that he has the pieces needed to put Tom Aspinall on the mat.
“It is your task to prove that you are the best, and you should become heavyweight and have to do that,” Tate added.
Daniel Cormier says that Jon Jones would not fight Tom Aspinall 'stop'
Cormier, undoubtedly the most bitter rival of Jones in the UFC, has been the most vocal with his criticism.
Although 'DC' has pushed back the suggestions that his former opponent is afraid of Aspinall, he has concluded that 'bones' will probably be feared and will be added for the first time at the peak of a rival.
Anyway, Cormier has stuck firmly that Jones should fight against Aspinall. And in his most recent video about this, the former two -division champion claimed that his old enemy would “stop” if he retires before he unites the heavyweight gold.
“Not everyone can retire – Jon Jones will withdraw from fighting, but if he doesn't fight this guy, then that is only he stop,” Cormier said.
“There is one real fight for him and he is not that old and it was hired that he cannot assume … If I still moisture today, and I was still the heavyweight champion, and Tom Aspinall was the number 1 contender, I would have already fought him, 1000 percent.
“What the Jon Jones does is very disturbing and very difficult for me to understand. Because in my mind this man is a hunter. I have seen him do it time and time again. It is a very strange situation.”
Such comments from fans and hunters did not seem to force Jones to admit to his attitude. His most recent reports on social media include spotting reactions on the fan -the petition in which he was called to be removed as a champion.
