Chavez Jr almost knocked the opponent out of the ring during title defense

After comments after his title profit, Chavez Jr wanted to silence the doubters in his first defending defense, which came only five months after winning the belt.

At the start of their collision in the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas, Manfredo JR surpassed the champion and seemed to find his feet in his second title fight.

Although he was marginal in the opening rounds of the fight, Chavez JR landed a few heavy shots, making the eyes of the jury members possible.

The challenger, however, continued to put the pressure on Chavez JR, in the hope that he would eventually crumble under pressure.

Chavez JR, however, fought well on the back foot and in round five he landed a huge counter right hand, wobbling Manfredo JR who immediately withdrew into the ropes.

The champion chased him and dissolved a barrage of bumps, so Manfredo JR was almost sent through the ropes while he continued to wiggle on his feet. Although he did not fall to the ground, the referee boarded and waved the fight when the challenger did not defend himself enough.

Jake Paul promises to make Chavez Jr 'The Next Meme'

Despite the fact that boxing purists are not a fan of 'The Problem Child', the eyes he has brought to the sport in recent years cannot be denied.

After having scored huge knockout victories on Tyron Woodley and Mike Perry, Paul promised to make Chavez Jr 'The Next Meme', and claims that this is the worst era that is eliminated because of the popularity of social media.

Although his fight against Chavez JR was only a few weeks out, Paul has mentioned all his potential opponents, hoping to continue his controversial run in sport.
