Manchester United star Andre Onana reportedly tries to convince teammate Bryan Mbeumo of Cameroon to join the Ruben Amorim side in the midst of Tottenham's competition.
Mbeumo is a lot of demand for this summer after its best season ever for Brentford. He was the sterman of the club when he scored 20 goals in the Premier League and now could be set for a big move.
United has emerged as the favorites for his signature, but after his manager Thomas Frank came to Tottenham, he would be 'intrigued' by a switch to North Londs.
It is understood that Mbeumo still tends to 'a move to Old Trafford, while Amorim offers to revise his wrestling team that ended 15th last season, with Matheus Cunha already became a member of the club.
And according to Manchester Evening News, Onana does his best to convince Mbeumo to choose United above Tottenham, where the couple shares a close relationship from their time in the Cameroon Team.
Mbeumo and Onana are international teammates since the first to play in front of the side in 2022. Mbeumo has been collected 22 caps, while Onana has 48.
United has already had an offer of around £ 60 million rejected by Brentford for Mbeumo, while Mirror Football understands that Tottenham has offered around £ 70 million and it is determined to reunite the player with Frank.

“He (Frank) is done so much for me. He literally trusted me from the start,” he told Sky Sports. “I think he has developed the team so well. He also developed me as a person and a player.

He added: “He knows everything; he is really smart and knows what he wants to bring the team, how he wants them to play. He has been fantastic for Brentford.”
When asked about the increasing amount of stories about his future, Mbeumo added: “” It's a bit new to me, I would say! I think it can be the life of a football player and you have to accept it. “
