Barcelona will probably have to do a big sale this summer if they want to finance a move for one of their top goals this summer, and there are a limited number of players who are prepared to sell both and get a large fee. Rumors remain the future of Fermin Lopez.
Already in March it was reported that Barcelona would consider offers for Lopez, despite his important role for Hansi Flick this season. However, the 22-year-old seemed reluctant to leave. In addition to the first interest from Saudi Arabia, Chelsea is more recently linked to a move for the Barcelona man.
According to Ben Jacobs, Bayern Munich recently has an approach for Fermin. However, the Spanish international, as was the case with the interest of Chelsea,, however, would rather stay in Barcelona.
The Blaugrana have already earned some money from people like Alex Valle (€ 6 million) this summer and a sold-out fee for Jean-Clair Todibo (€ 7.8), but there is no clear source of a big sale this summer. Lopez could have been a candidate for a departure, since they are well filled in his position, but as has often happened lately, Barcelona has many of their stars reluctant to leave.
Ronald Araujo was still a strong connected to an exit in January, but after signing a new deal until 2031 it seems to stay. The Uruguayan defender has already assured that he will be in the club next season. They continue to be heavily connected to people like Luis Diaz van Liverpool and Nico Williams from Athletic Club, but with uncertainty about their salary limit, both seem aloof without any source of income. Nevertheless, Barcelona has found ways to get deals in the past from unlikely positions.
