Leicester City offers to seal an immediate return to the Premier League after their gloomy season covered them back to the championship, where Ruud van Nistelrooy cannot stop their slide
Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistorrooy has focused on a movement for ex-Arsenal Wonderkid Sam Greenwood while he wants to secure an immediate return to the Premier League with the Foxes.
The Legend of Manchester United was appointed by Leicester at the end of 2024 to replace Steve Cooper, but could not prevent their relegation to the second layer because they were sent in April.
Van Nistelrooy admitted that he was not sure if he would stay for their rebuilding in the championship, but said he hoped to have a conversation about his future. According to the mail, the Foxes look at Greenwood, who could be seen in the youth side of Arsenal before they came to Leeds United in 2020.

Greenwood joined Arsenal in 2018 – after he had rejected Manchester United in favor of a move to the Emirates – but never a senior performance for the Gunners and two years later at Leeds when Marcelo Bielsa locked him up.

He played a total of 32 games in the Premier League for the Whites, which once borrowed to Middlesbrough before he was borrowed from Middlesbrough in 2023-24.
Greenwood yielded Boro five times and played 38 times when he was lent to Preston again last season.
Van Nistelrooy will like to have a confirmation, he is the man who wants to lead Leicester their revival after he admitted that he was in the dark about his future after the last Premier League match of the club of the campaign.
“I would like to talk and that is the first thing that has to happen,” he told the BBC “It was quiet and it is something towards the end of the season, getting things done and then I expect to hear something.
“It is important to start talking and seeing how we look at the future. It is what you have to discover. So far there has been no conversation, but I wait until that happens.”
