Al-Hilal CEO Esteve Calzada has confirmed that Saudi Arabia had conversations with Vinicius Junior during a move to the Middle East. The Real Madrid -Superster is generally expected to sign a contract extension with Los Blancos this summer.
The current Vinicius deal is expired in 2027, and last summer there was a new contract for the 24-year-old. Real Madrid wanted to extend his deal, but Vinicius delayed the conversations, while she reportedly held conversations with Saudi Arabia about a possible movement, with figures such as a contract of € 1 billion and a fee of € 300-400 million that is being thrown around. But in March, Vinicius agreed with a deal to expand his Real Madrid deal. That is despite leaks from his own camp that a deal is not closed.
In conversation with Cadena Ser, Calzada explained that Saudi Arabia feels able to subsequently jerk off. “We all go out because we know that we have the tools to convince someone, not just money,” Calzada noted. However, he admitted that there were many rumors that do not have much behind them, and agents often want to mention Saudi interest as a way to improve their negotiating position.
Calzada further confirmed that the CEO of the League has held negotiations with some teams, and that it would not surprise him if Vinicius arrived in the Saudi -Pro League. In terms of Al-Hilal as a club, however, Calzada said that there was currently 'nothing' with Vinicius. Calzada continued to embrace the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo in convincing players to go to Saudi Arabia, while he described the enchantment of Neymar Junior in Al-Hilal as 'unhappy', but no movement that they regretted. That is despite a reported costs of € 302 million for Saudi Arabia for his 18-month spell, in which he only played seven games.
