Barcelona is strongly connected to a relocation for Nico Williams for a second summer run, and although doubts about their ability to register players, it seems that they are being set in the last third part. Many, however, believe that this requires at least one big sale to get a large signature.
One of the candidates for an exit is Fermin Lopez, who is consistently associated with other teams, while Ronald Arajo is another that has been cited as a potential departure. He was almost left in January 2024 before Xavi Hernandez intervened, and again in January 2025, before director of Football Deco handed him a new deal.
It was Juventus who was connected to Araujo this year and they tested the waters with an offer of € 35 million. That was rejected and ARAUJO signed a new contract until 2031, but it does offer an exit route for the Uruguayan. ARAUJO has a release clause of € 65 million for the first 15 days of July. According to Diario AS, the agents of Araujo are happy to be a step for their customer, while he is more focused on continuing in Barcelona. However, his gross annual salary of € 15 million also makes him one of the best paid in the team.
With ARAUJO currently not in the Start Team of Hansi Flick, he and Andreas Christensen are excellent candidates to leave. The German manager supposedly remains outside the case, such as, but in Deco, Arajo does have a lawyer. The Brazilian Portuguese wants to stick to Araujo and believes that he has qualities that the other defenders do not do in the side, which is why Christensen is the preferred exit. The Danish defender has only had a year over his deal and would like to stay in the club after a season that was almost completely missed due to an injury.
