Barcelona hopes to generate funds this summer to control the signing of a new left wing player, and they are planning to do this by selling players. A number of candidates have emerged in recent weeks and among them is Pau Victor.
Victor came to Barcelona from Catalan Rivals Girona last summer. He was not expected to contain a lot for the first team, but in the end he played 29 times in all competitions and scored twice (both in La Liga, USAsuna and Mallorca).
He struggled for fame during the second half of the season, and during this period it was reported that he was looking for a summer exit to play regularly during the 2025-26 campaign. And on the back of this, a considerable number of voorags has emerged, especially in Spain.
But those who want to sign him on a permanent basis can be put off by the asking price of Barcelona. As reported by athletics, the Catalans want € 20 million for the 23-year-old, who was signed about € 3 million less than 12 months ago.
Barcelona is not actively looking for Victor, who made an impression on Hansi Flick and his coaching staff with the attitude he showed last season, despite a lack of regular playing time. A loan movement is more a consideration, since those within Can Barca would welcome the chance to play more often.
It will be interesting to see how Victor's situation takes place in the summer. Given that a new attacker is being sought, his chances of playing time will inevitably fall next season, which makes it very likely that he will leave before the end of the transfer window. A sale would benefit Barcelona, although it is no surprise that they prefer a loan agreement.
