Jack Grealishe seems to have little future with Manchester City after he has gotten out of favor with boss Pep Guardiola and the Spaniard made his attitude very clear during an exit
Pep Guardiola unveiled the “honest” conversations behind the decision to have Jack Grealishe leave this summer. Grealisk is not in the City World Cup and was allowed to go on loan or with a permanent transfer.
England Gealish is now following his own training while he is planning his next career movement, but City is ready to break the ties with him. Guardiola brought an emotional tribute to Grealisk and said that he owed him an enormous gratitude for the part he played in his success.
City Boss Guardiola said: “It was a conversation between him and the club and they decide. Jack is an exceptional player, the only reason why he didn't play last season is of course my decisions, and we decide that he should play – and the club was honest, he was honest.
“We decide best that he has a place where he can feel that he can play and come back to be the player he was in the year of the Treble or all his career at Aston Villa; without him it would have been impossible or harder to reach the Treble.
“The fact is that he has not played many minutes in the last two seasons and he has to come back to play and get the butterflies back in his belly that he can play every three days and show the quality he has.”
Guardiola also admitted that Kyle Walker is also ready to go with Everton, one of the clubs interested in the English defender. But Guardiola could not confirm news about the futures for Walker and Grealish and where they could end next season.
Guardiola added: “I don't have news, it's the same for Jack. I don't know about the links. You have to ask.”
Serie A Side Napoli has already emerged as the most likely candidates for the services of Grealiskh, in which club leaders have aimed at around £ 45 million on a deal. But they would have trouble paying his wage package of £ 300k per week.
City would probably have to pay around 50 percent of the bill to facilitate relocation to Naples. And even then Napoli Al Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho has in mind as an alternative.
