Pep Guardiola hinted that the career of Jack Grealiskester City could be over after “honest” conversations between the wing player and the club.
Grealisk came to City from Aston Villa in 2021, but did not find the shape he had for Villa in Manchester. He was then omitted from the Guardiola team for the World Cup Club.
In his 94 Premier League matches for City, Grealiskh scored 12 goals and registered just as many assists. For comparison: the 29-year-old found it just six times and helped 10 goals in his last season with Villa.
Guardiola did not confirm whether Grealisk would leave the club, but said that the attacker should discover his love for the game again.
'He had a conversation between him and the club, and they decided it was best [to stay behind from the CWC]”said Guardiola.
“Jack is an exceptional player. The only reason he didn't play last season is of course my decisions. We decide that he should play. The club was honest, he was honest.
“We decide that it is best to stay [behind] And have a place where he can feel that he can come back to be the player as he was in the year of the Treble or all his career in Aston Villa.
“The fact is in the past two seasons, he didn't play many minutes. He has to come back to play and have the butterflies in his belly that he can play every three days, every three days and show the quality he has.”

Guardiola has made a decision about who would be his new captain. Bernardo Silva takes Kevin De Bruyne's bracelet, who joined Napoli.
Silva is aimed at correcting their mistakes from last season instead of his contract situation, whereby the Portuguese player enters his current deal in the last year.
“I have had options in the past and this year, but just like last year, this year it is my option to stay in Manchester City,” Silva said.
“I know what I'm going to do, but it's not the time to talk about that. I am very focused on my season and perform well for the city. When the time is owed, I will talk about it.
“We spoke a lot last season, as a group, about what happened, and we have learned many very important lessons.
“Hopefully we will never forget them, especially this season. We will not forget what happened last season and try to make things right.”
