The Red Devils reportedly considered him a potential replacement for their current number 1, Andre Onana. Despite the reports from the German Outlet Bild that the director of the United, Christopher Vivell, has conversations with Frankfurt during a relocation of £ 51 million in April, Santos has promised his future to Frankfurt by registering until 2030.
“Management in Frankfurt showed enormous confidence in me,” Santos said to stay in the Bundesliga. “They wanted to keep working with me before these rumors even popped up.

“It can happen,” Amorim said about Onana's mistakes. “If you play football, you play a lot of games and you can make mistakes. If you look at the season, I make more mistakes than they make during these last games and these last months.”
