Florian Wirtz's parents are reportedly in line for a large payment day, while their son is approaching a mega-money movement to Liverpool.
The German star has been set to complete his switch to Anfield for a British record compensation of £ 116 million after Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen had reached an agreement last week.
Wirtz will undergo his medical on Friday before taking his transfer to the Premier League champions.
And this will also be good news for his parents.
According to Bildz's mother and father, Hans and Karin, worked on his behalf to negotiate his move and will receive a large committee that will receive around € 10 million (£ 8.6 million) in the course of his five -year contract in Liverpool.
Wirtz trusted his parents instead of a desk to get the deal over the line and they delivered.
He is now about to join his former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong in England.
Wirtz and Frimpong – who completed his own transfer of £ 29.5 million to Liverpool earlier this month – shared a photo of itself earlier this week on a boat that saved the sun off the Montenegro coast.
They are ready to link on the field shortly after they enjoyed good success in Germany.
The duo won a domestic double under Xabi Alonso in 2023-24, before adding the German Super Cup to their collection last season.
Alonso has now continued to manage Real Madrid, while Frimpong settles in life in Liverpool.
Wirtz will soon be by his side, with any unforeseen setbacks, and has to thank his parents for securing his switch to Merseyside.
They were also made to work for their committee, where Leverkusen initially played hardball when Liverpool first made their approach for Wirtz.
Liverpool had reduced bids of approximately £ 100 million and £ 110 million, but eventually reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side.
It is understood that the Reds pay a first fee of £ 100 million, with achievable add-ons and then bring the final payment to £ 116 million.
