Magomed Ankalaev mocks Alex Pereira’s UFC sponsorship appearance as their title rematch remains unconfirmed

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev's Patience wears thin with Alex Pereira.

Ankalaev defeated Pereira on UFC 313 and put an end to the rather dominant reign of the Brazilian on 205 pounds in his fourth defense.

Plans were quickly constructed for another chapter in the rivalry of the couple, in which Ankalaev publicly accepted a rematch against Pereira in the aftermath of his long -awaited title Triumph.

But their second dance remains on the calendar without a date, to the great frustration of the newly crowned light heavyweight king …

Magomed Ankalaev keeps trolling Alex Pereira for title fighting delay

Ankalaev has accused Pereira of postponing things and claims that 'Patan' has rejected countless offers for his championship brake match this summer.

Things seemed to be explained when a post on Pereiras X focused on the UFC, which indicates a gap between the promotion and one of the greatest stars. The former two-division champion claimed to have been hacked later.

Since then, Pereira has brought back his sights on Ankalaev and soon teased Fight News. But that apparently has not been enough to satisfy a hungry champion behind his first defense.

In the latest episode of Ankalaev who mocked his enemy, the Dagestani appeared in the commentary part of a promotional video for a UFC sponsor with Pereira next to Mauricio Ruffy.

“This is why he doesn't want to fight,” wrote Ankalaev.

The manager of Islam Makhacheve unveils the deadline of Alex Pereira

Pereira has returned to the training and seems to be committed to his return to action. That is probably a good thing given the recent threatening comments from Ali Abdelaziz.

During the UFC 316 Fight Week, the manager of Ankalaev Pereira gave a deadline and threatened that they would continue with the rematch with 'Poatan' and find a new challenger if he eventually did not accept the fight for October.

“Listen, we were asked to fight the international fighting week, we said yes,” said Abdelaziz. “We were asked to fight Alex in August, we said yes. We were asked to fight October.

“This is what Maga says:” Alex is at every event. He is on vacations, he does this – I don't know if he really is going to fight me if he just has fun … I kill myself in the gym. I don't know when I am fighting him. I am the champion, I feel that I am the challenger. “

“I said if he is not ready, I want to get him some of these other boys,” Abdelaziz added. “I think Alex Pereira has earned it, and I think he deserves it. If we have to wait, it's okay. … (but a) one hundred percent – if it's not Abu Dhabi, he will certainly fight someone else.”

Many expect Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2 to find his way to the annual pay-per-view of the UFC in October in Abu Dhabi. But talking about the Welterweight title of Islam Makhacheve title that was shot at the top of that line -up, the UFC may have other plans for the light heavyweight gold.
