Islam Makhachev has made some conversations that he might be retired from sport sooner.
Earlier this year it was shockingly announced by UFC boss Dana White that Islam Makhachev had left his lightweight title when pursuing a well -weight title shot against Jack della Maddalena.
More recently, the teammate Umar Nurmagomedov of Islam Makhoeven claimed that the Russian was practically forced to give up his lightweight title instead of sticking to the pursuit of a simultaneous double champion.
Both Della Maddalena and Makhachev are hopeful that their long -awaited collision will be planned for the end of the year, where October is the intended date.

Makhachev gives a response to pension critics
Although it was only a few months of his potential welterweight title combat option, the MMA world received a shock earlier this week when the Makhacheve coach claimed that the Russian will probably retire after a few fights.
And with that, his old teammate Daniel Cormier claimed that the pension time line of Makhachevers emphasizes a 'very sad' time in MMA, where another dominant champion can retire while they are at their peak.
With the news with regard to Makhacheve's potential pension over the internet, the 33-year-old, however, has issued a response of six words to the claims.
“Double Champ. Everything has just begun,” explained Makhachev in a post on X.
On June 28 at UFC 317, Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira will collide for the empty lightweight title of Makhachev, and the Russian has still seen that fight.
He and Topuria have a constant feud and as 'El Matador' successfully wins the 155LB -Riem on 28 June, Makhachev will probably go back after his fight against Della Maddalena to finally fight against the Spaniard.
The manager of Islam Makhachevers is in line with the imminent pension
The pronounced manager Ali Abdelaziz, the pronounced manager of Makhachev, has also concluded conversations that the 33-year-old might retire earlier instead of later.
“Islam Makhachev is not thinking of retirement. At least three years more high -level competition,” said Abdelaziz in a post on X.
