Alex Pereira apparently enjoys his time away from the action while the UFC world continues to wait for news about his next fight.
Earlier this year, the UFC -Light heavyweight title defense of Alex Pereira came to an end to the hands of Magomed Ankalaev who destroyed him in the UFC 313 Main Event.
Almost immediately after the event it became clear that a rematch would take place immediately and that the negotiations started immediately.
Nevertheless, conversations between the two dried up to the point that Ankalaev claimed that Pereira would not return and even gave him a deadline date to accept the rematch, otherwise he will skip him.

Alex Pereira offers amazing weight update
Although the Russian champion seemed that Pereira would not return to the sport, 'Patan' recently claimed that people will soon talk about his next fight, which indicates something new.
Earlier this week, however, the 37-year-old gave a stunning update of the weight, making a threatening rematch against Ankalaev less likely.
In a video placed on his Instagram, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion got on the scale and showed that he currently weighs 243 pounds.
“243LBS is off – large heavyweight size, bro. Heavyweight Bro!” said his coach.
And with the favorite of the Brazilian fan who currently roads just as much as a heavyweight, fans started calling to officially gain weight to accept the current interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
Aspinall will probably be upgraded to the undisputed heavyweight champion in the coming weeks after Dana White gave an update about Jones last Tuesday and claims that they will go from him while he will continue to slow down his return.
Fans ask for Pereira vs Aspinall after Pereira Weight Update
Because fans probably miss what one of the biggest fighting in the UFC history between Aspinall and Jon Jones would be, they now focus their attention on a potential fight between Brit and 'Patan'.
“If Jon is out, we let Pereira vs can cancel Ankalaev and do Aspinall vs Pereira,” State Oscar Willis of the Mac Life on X.
“I said this from the first day. Nobody cares about Alex vs Ankalaev Rematch. It's useless. Just go up,” noted another fan.
“Pereira is smoked on the feet. Aspinall is so much faster. The one who probably wins the first the most and Tom has a huge speed benefit. Seal kills,” a third fan predicted.
I think Pereira has already rejected the title shot and his Jiri. Pereira certainly goes to heavyweight. They will make Aspinall vs Gane Paris, he is quickly and first Netflix PPV Jones Aspinall and Kayla Amanda as Co Main

Although that would be a huge fight for the promotion, Asinall unveiled the two opponents for which he specifically started and Pereira unfortunately there is unfortunately not one of them.
