Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has been sued by the FA due to the violation of anti-doping rules.
The Ukrainian winger, 24, could now be confronted with a ban of football of football.
Mudryk was provisionally suspended in December after testing positive for prohibited drugs Meldonium.
With the FA that has assessed the results of a B -monster, the signature of £ 97 million has been formally charged, according to De Telegraaf.
A FA spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been accused of anti-doping rule violations that claim the presence and/or the use of a forbidden substance, in terms of regulations 3 and 4 of the anti-doping regulations of the FA.
“Because this is an ongoing case, we are currently unable to comment further.”
Mudryk did a positive test last August and denied misconduct.
The Chelsea star wrote on Instagram in December: “I can confirm that I received a notification that a sample that I provided to the FA contained a forbidden substance.
“This has come a complete shock because I have never knowingly used or have used forbidden substances or have violated rules, and working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.
“I know that I have done nothing wrong and hope that I will be back on the field soon. I can no longer say because of the confidentiality of the process, but I will be as soon as possible.”
Mudryk collaborates with the same law firm that represented Paul Pogba during the Frenchman's doping store.
With the help of Morgan Sports Law, the initial prohibition of Pogba was reduced four years to 18 months after an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The former Star of Manchester United is now eligible to resume his career and is strongly connected to Ligue 1 -side Monaco.
Mudryk in the meantime remains in the dark.
The former Arsenal objective only made seven Premier League performances during the 2024-25 season -although he scored three goals in six outings of the conference.
Mudryk went to Poland for Chelsea's Conference League final against Real Betis – but Sunsport understands that he did not participate in the parties or pick up a medal.
The wing player is without a team number, where his NO10 shirt was given to Cole Palmer.
