Manchester City has made their first signing of the transfer window and brought Jade Rose in.
The versatile defender has signed a four-year contract with the Women's Super League club, member of Harvard University and will officially become a member of the club on July 1.
Rose has made 28 performances for Canada since she made her senior debut in the She believed Cup in 2021 at the age of 18 -.
During her time in the collegial system of the United States, she won back-to-back Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year Awards and was also named Canada Soccer Young Player of the Year in 2023.

Gotham FC is said to be one of a number of NWSL teams interested in Rose, with the local rivals of the city of Manchester United also among those who have shown interest.
City finished fourth in the WSL last term among interim head coach Nick Cushing, after Gareth Taylor left the mid-season. They still have to confirm who will be their new head coach.
