Atletico Madrid looks at another big summer of Transfer in 2025.
In recent weeks it has been decided that Athleti should look for the signing of a new left back. The performance levels of Javi Galan and Reinildo Mandava have not been to standard in the last 12 months, and therefore a new option is being sought by head coach Diego Simeone.
Theo Hernandez was an option that Athleti had explored, but since then they have established Andy Robertson as their top goal. And the chances that a deal is closed for the Scotland International seem to have increased in recent days.
According to Diario, Robertson Atleti has given his approval to make the move this summer. As a result, the only thing that remains before a deal can be concluded is for a reimbursement agreement that takes place with Liverpool.
It has been reported that Liverpool wants to leave Robertson in the £ 5 million region. The Premier League champions are already replacing him, with a deal for AFC Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez who was assumed to be at an advanced stage.
Robertson would undoubtedly be a top signing for Athleti, and his profile would be perfect for Simeone. And his personality and winning mentality will only help Los Colchoneros in their attempt to close the gap to Barcelona and Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
