Arsenal pair included in six-man PFA Young Player shortlist voted for by rivals

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri both had impressive seasons by becoming important figures in Mikel Arteta's Gunners team, but are confronted with heavy competition from a new Chelsea star

Six players have been nominated for the PFA Young player of the season, whereby the country's professionals vote for a few breakthrough Arsenal stars and two players who have already made a large transfer of money.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri both had impressive seasons by becoming important figures in the Mikel Arteta Gunners team when they finished second in the top flight and were defeated in the semi-final of the Champions League by final winners Paris Saint-Germain.

Lewis-Skelly also scored on his senior debut in England against Albania in March, while teammate Nwaneri, 17, nine times scored in 37 performances for the Gunners in all competitions.

And they are accompanied by Liam Delap, who made his Chelsea debut this week after he was poached from the relegated city of Ipswich and scored a dozen goals for the tractor boys.

The impressive Bournemouth campaign is also rewarded by Dean Huijsen, who made his Real Madrid debut on Wednesday evening in the club World Cup trek against Al Hilal, and Liverpool-bound Hungarian full back Milos Kerkez mentioned among the six best young people.

And last but not least is Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, who started on one after one competition match for the club while registering eight competition goals and 10 assists. He also earned a first call to the Senior Team of England

The winner will be honored on August 19 during the 52nd annual PFA Awards, which will be held in Manchester with Mohamed Salah who is expected to take the coveted player of the year Gong.
