Could The Liver King convince Shavkat Rakhmonov to try his raw meat diet ahead of major UFC fights?

The Liver King is undeniably a physical specimen, with one of the most chiselled physiques in the world, but could he get Shavkat Rakhmonov on board with his raw meat diet?

The welterweight prospect will fight Ian Garry tomorrow night at UFC 310 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Henri Hooft reveals whether Shavkat Rakhmonov would ever eat as The Liver King

On November 10, a group of determined fighters from the iconic Kill Cliff gym decided to take on one of the most physically demanding challenges in human history: The Barbarian.

The mixed martial artists had to run a full mile, carrying two 30kg kettlebells, 25kg in a backpack, 10kg ankle weights and 120kg clipped to a sled.

The gym's owner, Henri Hooft, watched in awe as his students crossed the finish line one by one, earning a $100,000 donation from The Liver King himself.

Unsurprisingly, this wasn't easy, as the athletes had to dig deep to get through the course designed by one of America's most ripped individuals, who has previously accomplished the task with verve in his step.

With that in mind, we asked Hooft if he, or even any of the stars at his gym, including Shavkat Rakhmonov and Gilbert Burns, would ever try the social media star's diet.

In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, he said: “The fighters are all on a special diet. They have to lose weight in this sport. Everyone does it their own way, as long as they can make the weight and have the energy to fight. Of course we have professional people around us.

“But I don't know if I can be so torn anymore. I am an old man. So I like to eat liver, that's a fact. I also like to eat horse meat. However, my body does not change. But he seems in good shape to me.”

Mark Coleman completes The Barbarian

If the fighters needed any more motivation to successfully reach the end of the course, they got it in the form of Mark Coleman, who did everything he could to prove he still had it.

At 59 years old, the former UFC champion hauled in 350 pounds in a moment that was truly special.

Hooft was utterly blown away by the performance, claiming that the American's achievement was nothing short of astonishing due to the obstacles he faced in his personal life.
