Manchester City has been fined by the Premier League from the Premier League about delayed kick -offs or restarting with regard to nine of their matches last season.
The competition announced on Thursday that it was a sanction agreement with the club on breaches of the rules of the competition around the kick -off and restart times between October and February.
The longest delay was two minutes and 24 seconds before the resumption of the Manchester Derby in Old Trafford last December.
The Premier League said City had accepted and apologized for the breaches of Rule L.33, with the fines of a total of £ 1.08 million.
The League said that City had 14 days to pay the execution of the sanction agreement.
A competition statement said: “Rules regarding kick-offs and restarts help ensure that the organization of the competition is determined on the highest possible professional standard and offers certainty to fans and participating clubs.
“It also ensures that the broadcast of each Premier League match is stored to plan.”
Last summer, City received a fine of more than £ 2 million for 22 infringements on the kick-off and restarting rules during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
The issue is not connected to the 115 Charges City is confronted with alleged breaches of the financial regulations of the competition, which the club unambiguously denies.
