After ending the 15th in the Premier League last season, Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has to do if he wants to put his way for an improved show
The Summer Construction of Manchester United is already well on the road thanks to the conquest of Matheus Cunha, but there will be more. The Brazilian international is the first of what many expect to be a series of signing sessions, because Ruben Amorim wants to streamline his team.
United has confirmed that Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen will leave after the passing of their contracts, although Tom Heaton will extend his stay. However, those who leave for nothing are probably the only players who leave.
If Amorim wants to further strengthen his team without the financial benefit of European football, he may have to punish the sale of further sale. Alejandro Garnacho is one of those who can get a neat sum, although early reports from a Serie A movement for Rasmus Hojlund have become quieter lately.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony are all expected to be excess for the requirements to end on loan last season. Real betis hope to keep Antony at the club, although Chelsea's feelings about Sancho were quite different.
Today we have an update about Rashford for you, as well as a handful of different rules. Here is the newest round of Mirror Football of updates from around Old Trafford.
Newcastle enthusiastic about Rashford
Newcastle United can offer Marcus Rashford a route from Old Trafford. The Magpies can also offer the English star a chance on Champions League football, although there is still work to be done.
According to the Sun, Newcastle's preference for a loan from the seasonal hose, while Manchester United would prefer a permanent sale. The current Rashford deal runs until 2028 and he is one of the highest earners in the Premier League.
Rashford has been under the loan of Aston Villa in the past term, but their failure to qualify for the Champions League makes a return unlikely. Barcelona started watching elsewhere, despite earlier interest, with Nico Williams close to a movement at the time of writing.
Everton told Hojlund to sign
Former Everton star Pat Nevin has called on the club to raid Manchester United for Rasmus Hojlund. Danish frontman Hojlund struggled for the goal last season, but Nevin believes that a movement to Merseyside can be the perfect fit.
“There are two or three players that they could think of bringing in from Manchester United, but Rasmus Hojlund is the one who sticks out,” Nevin told Spin Genie after he had encouraged Everton to look at the loan market. “If you look at his playing style, it is a perfect match with how David Moyes likes to play. Although his songs have not been great this season, Moyes loves hard workers and that is something you can never complain about with regard to Hojlund.
“It is not so often that David Moyes has had 20-30 goals per season. He has had strikers that run behind and create space to bring others into play, so if he is available, Hojlund could be a seductive option for Everton to sign on loan.”
Chelsea told Garnacho to ignore
According to their former midfielder Emmanuel Petit, Chelsea should stay away from a movement for Alejandro Garnacho. In the Talksport, Petit argued that the visible frustration of the Argentinian in recent weeks is a point of care.
“Chelsea should stay from Alejandro Garnaacho, he might be a decent guy, but I didn't like his behavior on the Manchester United tour,” Petit said. “He shows frustration, but has had many opportunities to show his potential on the field, but we still don't know what we can expect from him. He gives 100% and shows great commitment, but we have not really seen him improve as a player.
“The mentality is on the field, but he has not improved step by step. Chelsea has already wingers in comparable situations with the same frustrations. Signing Garnacho is not a good idea.”
