The battery is only 110 mm thick, making the seating level comparable to that of the previous version with a combustion engine. In addition, the location of the battery contributes to lowering the center of gravity by 90 mm, which improves the stability and stability of the car on the road.

Renault Megane E-Tech was developed in two versions: one with a traditional design and another with a more daring, sporty design characterized by wide wheel arches and a front with powerful contours. When a new CEO of Renault took over in 2020, it was decided to focus on the production of only the Sport version, eliminating the traditional version, with the aim of strengthening the sporty and modern image of the brand.

Competitive price

The Renault Megane E-Tech faces strong competition from the likes of the Cupra Born and MG4, as well as a host of small crossovers such as the Kia Niro EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Volvo EX30, Peugeot e-2008 and Jeep Avenger . Prices for the Mégane E-Tech start from £34,495, making it a cost-competitive option compared to many competing cars. This price corresponds to approximately 162,000 Saudi riyals.
