Fans were not happy with one statement from the UFC CEO during his recent announcements of fighting.
Dana White recently announced a stacked map for the return of the UFC to Abu Dhabi on July 26 via a video posted on his social media platforms.
In addition to a middleweight title -eliminator between Robert Whittaker and Reinier de Ridder, next month's Fight Night event also has a huge featherweight matchup between the unbeaten Movsar Evloev and new arrival Aaron Pico.
Another of the big fights that are now being confirmed for Abu Dhabi sees Bryce Mitchell going down a weight class while he again inventes himself as a Bantam weight.
During the White video, he made an incorrect claim about the upcoming opponent of Mitchell who quickly picked up fans in the answers to the post.

So far, fans have much to say in 2025 about the current involvement and interest of Dana White at the UFC.
This talk point has been especially relevant in view of the status of Jon Jones and whether he should be stripped of the heavyweight title if he is not going to fight Tom Aspinall.
In the video posted by White, where he announced some major fights for Abu Dhabi, this was what he had to say about the Bantamweight conflict between Bryce Mitchell and said Nurmagomedov.
“Bryce Mitchell makes a big switch to the Bantamweight Division and will debut against the Always Dangerous Said Nurmagomedov, the cousin of Khabib [Nurmagomedov]. “

Although they are friends who come from Dagestan and share the same last name, Said is not related to Khabib.
The former UFC Lightweight Champion has cousins that are also big names in the sport in Umar and Usman Nurmagomedov, but did not say from the same family.
Fans have checked white under his announcement video, along with being enthusiastic about what a big return to Abu Dhabi seems to be next month.
