10: Harry Maguire – Leicester to Man Utd for € 87m
Maguire moved to Man Utd in 2019 and at the time became the world's most expensive defender.
He has been an ordinary starter, although his versions have sometimes had to deal with criticism and he has experienced ups and downs in shape.
He remains a man UTD player at 32, but has surrendered the bracelet of the captain to Bruno Fernandes.
9: Josko Gvardiol – Leipzig to Man City for € 90m
The transfer from gvardiol to the city was in 2023 and is considered one of Europe's best young defenders.
Known for his versatility and effectiveness in the accrued game, the 23-year-old is expected to develop further under the system of the city.
Gvardiol was used as a center half and left back by Pep Guardiola, the latter of which is a fairly new change.

Man Utd also signed Lukaku, from Everton, in 2017 for € 85 million, but we will limit him to one item on this list.
Lukaku returned to Chelsea, the club he left in 2021 in 2021 for a club record compensation at that time.
His fine target core shape at Inter attracted the blues, but his second enchantment at Chelsea was marred by injuries.
Lukaku now plays for Italian champions Napoli.
5: Moises Caiceido – Brighton to Chelsea for € 116m
Chelsea fought interest from various large clubs, including Premier League rivals Liverpool, to sign the midfielder in January 2023.
He is still setting up in his new club, but it is clear that he has the potential to become one of the best defensive midfielders in the world – if he is not yet.
4: Declan Rice – West Ham to Arsenal for € 116.5 million

3: Jack Grealish – Aston Villa to Man City for € 117m

Grealisk is one of the most talented players in England, and his big move to the city in 2021 marked him as such.
He is a creative wing player, but he still has to justify the loving transfer costs that the Villa citizens have paid for him.
