OFFICIAL: Nuno signs new deal with Nottingham Forest until 2028

Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce that Nuno EspĂrito Santo has signed a new contract with the club.

The Boshoofdcoach has received a new x-year-old deal from owner Evangelos Marinakis prior to the 2025/26 campaign.

Nuno has devised an incredible season 2024/25 for the forest and supervised the club to the highest competition finish in 30 years and therefore qualified for the first time since 1995/96 for UEFA European competition.

Last season, Nuno Forest sent to the road to win over Liverpool and Manchester United for the first time in 55 and 30 years, and he reached the longest top -winning streak of the club since 1967.

His work was recognized when he won three Premier League manager of the monthly prizes – more than any other manager during the 2024/25 campaign – after successes in October, December and March.

Nuno also had a hugely positive impact away from the field during his time on Trentside, when he and owner Evangelos Marinakis welcomed the local learning disorder Warriors united in the city area for a unique experience behind the scenes at the open training of the first team earlier in the season.

Nuno also embraced forest owner Evangelos Marinakis' enormously impactful house for the Christmas campaign, including a visit to the Medical Center of Nottingham and participation in a Christmas party to hand out presents to local children who are present.

Nuno EspĂrito Santo said: “I am very happy that I can continue our journey in this fantastic football club.

“Since we arrived in Forest, we have worked extremely hard to create a special bond between the players, the fans and everyone at the club, who helped us to achieve great things last season.

“I want to thank our owner, Mr. Marinakis, for his constant support and support. It is important for me to share a strong relationship with our property and we have enjoyed it enormously to work together since I arrived in Forest.”

“This is the time to work harder than ever, because we strive for more special memories together.”

Evangelos Marinakis, owner of Nottingham Forest, said: “Nuno has had a big impact and has performed very well during his time with us.

“He has shown that he maximizes player performance and is an expert in developing players, while also embedding our young talent in the first team setup.

“Together we enjoy a strong and solid relationship and especially we share the same dream and ambition to write a new history for Nottingham Forest, competing in the Premier League and in Europe and winning trophies for our great club!”
