The deceased winner of Michael Olise sent Bayern Munich through the knockout phase of the Club World Cup with a match, after a 2-1 victory over Boca Juniors.
The International in France scored the decisive goal six minutes after the time in the C -collision group, after Miguel Merentiel Harry Kane's earlier effort had canceled in a hard rock stage.
Bayern broke the impasse in Miami after 18 minutes, when Kane held home after Boca could not deal with the cross of Konrad Laimer.
Kevin Zenon tested Manuel Neuer with two bright discs while the side of Miguel Angel Russo was looking for a reaction.
Neuer, however, was helpless when Boca equalized halfway through the second half; Merentiel comes behind Jonathan Tah and hits Josip Stanisic, before sweeping in the roof of the net.
Bayern enjoyed a 10-0 route from Auckland City in their group C-opener, but had to wait until the 84th minute to grab all three points here, with Kane Olise rising to go further than Boca goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin and the bottom corner.

Data Debrief: Olise stops South American Rot
Bayern is the second side until the last 16 when they became a member of Flamengo, who also collected six points of six in group D.
Olise's Late Strike also ended a point of nine consecutive unbeaten matches for South American teams at the start of this club World Cup (won six, pulled three).
After his brace against Auckland, Olise is the leading scorer in the tournament with three goals, matching teammate Jamal Musiala and Angel di Maria of Benfica.
