Marcus Rashford from Manchester United has said that he would like to join Barcelona and play alongside Lamine Yamal.
Rashford, who trained in Spain before the season, praised the 17-year-old sensation during an interview with the Spanish influencer Javi Ruiz.
When asked that he was explicitly asked if he would like to play next to Yamal, Rashford said: “Yes, certainly, everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully … we will see.”
Barcelona Sports Director Deco went public last month that the Catalan side 'such as' Rashford, together with Liverpool -wing player Luis Diaz.
The club is also supposed to be interested in Athletic Club wing player Nico Williams.
Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that Manchester United had not received any offers for Rashford, who spent the second half of last season on loan in Aston Villa.
The international of England is still under contract with Old Trafford for three years, but his future at the club remains unclear.
On Yamal, Rashford added: “It is difficult to put into words what he does because he should not do that on 16 or 17. I don't think we've seen that before.”
Rashford is one of the many players who are linked this summer to an exit from Old Trafford, while head coach Ruben Amorim reforms his team after the lowest Premier League finish of the club last season.
Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof have all been released, while Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho are also available.
Juventus has investigated the conditions of a Sancho deal, in which Napoli is also interested in the player, who spent a year on his contract and spent on loan in Chelsea last season.
