Curtis Blaydes calls out Tom Aspinall’s potential next opponent after close win over UFC Baku debutant

Curtis Blaydes called a man who could stand in line to face Tom Aspinall for the UFC Heavyweight title.

Blaydes was one of those in charge of introducing live UFC action to the Nation Azerbaijan, as MMA's leading promotion was debuted in the country on Saturday.

The old competition and former interim title finer on the UFC Baku head card, who defends his top five ranking against Debutant and EX-PFL striking Rizvan Kuniev.

The UFC Heavyweight Division is in an uncertain period, because Jon Jones Tom Aspinall and their long calling fight continues to avoid.

Because the champion often retires instead of looking at the English heavyweight, the talks have become to which CompSendant Aspinall could fight instead.

The leading candidates seem formerly interim title holder Ciryl Gane, rising Brazilian powerhouse Jilton Almeida and a pillar of the division in Alexander Volkov.

But 'Razor' looked to remove one name from that comparison and called the Frenchman for a collision of October during his post-fight Octagon interview with Michael Bisping in Baku.

Blaydes was self -critical of his display against newcomer Kuniev, and one of his prominent colleagues was also not impressed.

While he continues to use his claim for a title shot against Aspinall in the expected absence of Jones, Almeida apparently does not believe that he should stay in the ranking under Blaydes.

The post of the Brazilian on X comes in the midst of many in the MMA community who, who were to score the decision of the judges against Kuniev, that seemed to increase its stock, even in the defeat.

It is still to be seen how the UFC will view the proposed next matchup of Blaydes.

With Dana White who suggests that the heavyweight image will become clearer in the coming weeks, 'Razor' may not have too long to wait before he finds out.
