It is safe to say that the main event of the people at UFC Baku is not Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree Jr. wax
The promotion hit Azerbaijan for the first time this week and brought UFC action to his capital in Baku Crystal Hall.
Selected to close the show were Hill and Rountree JR, because the pair of hard-hitting light heavyweights both watched the championship photo after title losses in 2024.
In that respect it was 'the war horse' that succeeded. But it seems that not much of the Azerbaijani fans loved long enough to witness his triumph.

On Saturday, Rountree JR Hill saw on the score cards beating after dropping 'Sweet Dreams' several times.
The five -round collision as a whole left a lot to be desired in the eyes of Vecht fans, perhaps the decision of many locals to swarm for the outputs before the main event even started
Images uploaded to the Ushatayka Instagram account showed the Baku Crystal Hall that was empty after the victory of home favorite Rafael Fiziev at Ignacio Bahamondes in the Co-Main event.
Fans responded to the massive exodus of supporters at UFC Baku, where some suggest that the couple may have just as well participated in the UFC APEX facility with low capacity in Las Vegas.

UFC Baku fans had to wait until the eighth fight to see a finish
The first event of the UFC in Baku was not exactly like Dana White and Co. Maybe had hoped.
In addition to the matte main event and a boring affair between Curtis Blaydes and Rizvan Kuniev on the main map, Fans had to wait eight fights to even see a finish.
A provisional card full of decisions and a main card opener who followed left the UFC at a point of 13 straight decisions about the Atlanta and Baku cards.
Fortunately, Up Nazim Sadykhov stepped to save the day on a house land.
'Black Wolf' came as a victor from a memorable war against Nikolas Motta and survived an attack in the first round to find the finish itself with a devastating combination in round two.
