Xpeng G6: an advanced electric car with elegant design and powerful performance

Considered one of the pioneers in the world of electric cars, the Xpeng G6 electric car features advanced technologies and an elegant design that combines high performance and comfort. With each new update, this car becomes more advanced and refined. Recently, new details have emerged that broaden its appeal and improve its performance and capabilities. The Xpeng G6 features an advanced intelligent driving system that combines partial autonomy and over-the-air software updates, making the driving experience safer and more comfortable. In addition, the car has a long range and strong performance, making it an ideal choice for those looking for economy and durability without sacrificing performance and luxury.

The standard color of Xpeng G6 is Arctic White. For an additional charge, the model is also available in different colors, including Graphite Gray, Midnight Black, Silver Frost or the introductory color Fiery Orange. Customers can choose between black and diamond gray for the interior color. The G6 comes standard on 20-inch aluminum wheels, but can also be ordered with an electrically extendable towbar with a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms.

The G6 is the fifth model in the Xpeng range and the third to be offered in Europe. The Chinese electric car manufacturer unveiled this five-seater car in April 2023 at the Auto China fair in Shanghai. This sporty electric SUV is Xpeng's first model based on the new 800V SEPA 2.0 platform, which the company unveiled a day before the AutoChina show. The model comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive can also be selected as an extra option.

The base model produces 190 kW and 440 Nm, while the long-range single-motor version produces 210 kW and 440 Nm. The four-wheel drive model produces 350 kilowatts and 660 Newton meters and accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in four seconds. According to Xpeng, all versions can reach speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour.

In terms of batteries, G6 buyers can choose between the smaller 66 kWh LFP battery, which offers a WLTP range of up to 435 kilometers (compared to the rear-wheel drive Model Y), and the larger 87.5 kWh NCM battery, which has a range of 550 to 570 kilometers according to WLTP test. However, a large battery is standard on the all-wheel drive model.

The small LFP battery can be charged up to 215 kilowatts, while the large NMC battery can be charged up to 280 kilowatts at peak, Xpeng confirmed. Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes 'less than 20 minutes'. The car is equipped with a three-phase charger with a capacity of 11 kilowatts for alternating charging.

The Chinese company also says that the G6 has a storage capacity of 571 liters (expandable to 1,374 liters) and a wheelbase of 2.89 meters. The G6 is 4.75 meters long, 1.92 meters wide and 1.65 meters high. The size of the model is therefore virtually identical to the Tesla Model Y, which is only 2.5 centimeters lower.
