UFC legend brands Jon Jones ‘a cheating little rat’ following retirement from the sport

The career of Jon Jones in the UFC has come to an unfortunate end and not everyone is willing to give him his props for a unique career.

Last Saturday after the very first event of the UFC in Azerbaijan, Dana White officially announced that Jon Jones retired from the sport and rejected his heavyweight title.

Although he is generally considered the greatest hunter of all time because of his impressive CV and the things he has achieved in the sport, it is impossible to deny that his actions against the back-end of his career have affected his inheritance.

And with that, after he confirmed his retirement with a message on social media, the emotional post of Jon Jones was hijacked by fans who kept trolling him to dive Tom Aspinall for a few months.

Mark Hunt -brands Jon Jones 'Cheating Little Rat' after retirement

Despite the fact that one of the biggest legacies has been left in sport, there is still a large part of Jones's career that will be considered completely controversial.

From different suspensions as a result of testing positive for prohibited substances, to suspensions because of his actions outside the cage, 'Bones' will go down as one of the most controversial hunters of all time.

Not only that, but during his career, Jones collected the reputation to be a cheat. So much so that Rampage Jackson admitted for his title fight against Jones that he trained for Eye-Pokes, who knew Jones's tendencies.

And although Jones from the sport should be a celebration of what an incredible career has been, not everyone sees it that way. UFC legend Mark Hunt went on Jones and burned him a 'cheating small rat'.

“Jon Jones is the biggest cheat of all time, that's all he is and that's how he got to the top,” began to explain in an interview with Thunderpick.

“That's how he had to hang out with boys like me, he is a cheating little rat. That is all he will ever be. You can't be the biggest hunter in the world if you put needles in your ass and you hide under the octagon from USADA.

“How should you be the biggest hunter? Your world titles mean nothing, you are caught like a shortcut, that's all you are,” Hunt continued.

Dana White regrets Jon Jones so much time to give Jon Jones

After the entire Saga including Jones and Aspinall, White always stated that the fight would happen '100%'.

Although, after the official pension of Jones, White admitted that he regretted Jones so much time to decide whether he wanted the fight or not, take the responsibility to retain the career of Aspinall.

Fortunately for the UFC fans, however, Aspinall has sworn to be an active champion and declares that he wants the heavyweight division to move again after months of uncertainty.
