Kenzie Morrison Aces BKFC Debut with wild knockout in the first round
The 34-year-old Kenzie Morrison builds its own legacy in the ring.
In the footsteps of his legendary father, Morrison went an impressive 22-1-2 in professional boxing before eventually changed from sport and signed at BKFC.
Morrison entered his bald boxing debut against Alex 'The Rhino' Davis in a heavyweight fight.
It wasn't long before Morrison van Oklahoma would find a home in front of his punches, so Davis cracked in the first round shots.
Morrison scored an early knock -down from Davis by sticking with a shot and sending him to the canvas.
Davis could not continue and Morrison left a scream after the TKO victory of the first round.
Welcome to the BKFC, Kenzie 'TCB' Morrison.
Kenzie Morrison says that Father Tommy Morrison would have been a BKFC fan
Kenzie's father, Tommy Morrison, was not just a boxer. Together with playing 'Tommy Gunn' in Rocky V opposite Sylvester Stallone, Morrison fought one of his last attacks under an MMA rules set.
Morrison was allowed to bump and use elbows in a fight that saw him win in 2007 through the first round knockout.
On Thursday, Kenzie Morrison was asked what his father would have thought he was fighting in BKFC, without gloves on.
“I think he thought it was interesting and excited, just like everyone else,” said Morrison at the BKFC 76 press conference.
