Alex Pereira insists he’s fought ‘way harder’ opponents than Magomed Ankalaev as he reveals likely rematch date

Alex Pereira believes that he fought against stricter opposition than UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev.

Fans are waiting for confirmation of the light heavyweight title Rematch since Ankalaev Pereira beat UFC 313 last March.

Ankalaev publicly accepted a rematch shortly thereafter, but he has since complained about apparent delays that he claims to decrease the Brazilian who reject fight dates.

This led to the manager of Ankalaev Pereira set a deadline for accepting the Rematch, and it seems that 'Patan' is planning to meet it.

Alex done, he never came back, let's move on June July August, I said yes

Alex Pereira rejects the idea Magomed Ankalaev is his toughest opponent ever

Pereira has become more active in recent weeks when it comes to tackling his future and teasing a return.

That trend continued in a recent interview with the Schmo, in which he had even demonstrated the likely timeframe for his Rematch against Ankalaev.

“We are in conversation with the UFC. We are getting ready,” said Pereira.

“Let's look. Maybe something around October.”

The promotion was set on phase two pay-per-views in that month, where UFC 320 is expected to take place on 4 October in Las Vegas and the annual Abu Dhabi had with Abu Dhabi a few weeks later.

When he is opposed to Ankalaev in the cage at one of those events, Pereira is sure that he will not be the most difficult challenge of his career.

“I absolutely fought against stricter opponents,” Pereira kept full. “The situation itself on that day (UFC 313), the circumstances, made him a hard opponent.

“But I certainly have fought people much more difficult than him.”

Israel Adesanya assesses the opportunities of Alex Pereira in Magomed Ankalaev Rematch

When Pereira and Ankalaev have added their rematch to the calendar, another of the former Rivals of the Brazilian is convinced that he can demand his revenge.

During a podcast on his YouTube channel with colleague -Fc -star Sean O'Malley, Israel Adesanya Pereira supported to return to the light heavyweight throne.

“I am so proud of the man what he did,” said Adesanya. “It's like made a monster.

“He showed why he is who he is in two weight classes. I can't wait to see the next fight with him and Ankalaev again.

“I think it's a difficult thing again, but I think (Pereira) can get it,” Adesanya added.

“Because it was not a complete leaching for that (first) fight. He also gets better exponentially.”

After two kickboxing for Pereira, Adesanya split his double -test series with 'Patan' in the UFC. After a late TKO had removed 'The Last Stylebender' from the throne in the first fight, he received redemption five months later with a thunderous knockout.

Pereira has now been the victim of that scenario and will now try to get his own back in a Rematch at the expense of Ankalaev.
