The Rock reflects on touching moment that UFC legend he plays in upcoming movie learns about Hall of Fame induction

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be present for the UFC Hall of Fame ceremony at the International Fight Week.

During UFC 316 earlier this month, the final UFC Hall of Fame class of 2025 Inductee was announced with Mark Kerr who entered the Pioneer Wing.

The former double UFC winner of heavyweight tournament has been a big topic of discussion this year with the Rock Set to play Kerr in an upcoming film.

On 3 October 'The Smashing Machine' by Benny Safdie will touch cinemas with the rock that resulted in a lead performance that fellow legend Bas Rutten left with goose bumps.

After spending a considerable amount of time on the accurate play of Kerr in the film, De Rock thought about the emotional moment that the news of his Hall of Fame induction was officially made.

With Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who raised Mark Kerr next week in the UFC Hall of Fame, the speech of one of the greatest talkers of all time is certainly special.

Seeing Kerr gets his recognition as a legend of the sport that has not spent much time in the spotlight in recent years, will be emotional, as the announcement proved.

During UFC 316, Jon Anik gave a short speech before a video pack of Kerr's time in the UFC took place in the Arena.

Kerr was present in the Prudential Center where UFC cameras caught its bewildered reaction on the great tribute he received from the MMA leader.

De Rots thought about this video in a recent post on social media where he spoke about Kerr's emotional reaction and congratulated the legendary hunter with whom he will always have a bond.

“Look at the eyes of Mark Kerr when he first hears from @jon_anik that he is being initiated into the @UFC Hall of Fame. This moment was a complete surprise for Mark – he had no idea that he was initiated.

“His eyes raged and everything he could say time and time again was 'wow',” wrote Johnson. “And his words are perfect, because the world is sometimes too big to talk about. It is my absolute honor to lead my brother Mark Kerr in the UFC Hall of Fame. Difficult to put into words, but his life changed mine. Congratulations and congratulations to all 2025 UFC inductees.”
