Dana White shreds Jake Paul and Oscar De La Hoya as he claims he didn’t know Chavez Jr fight clashes with UFC 317

Dana White has insisted that he did not even know that Jake Paul put his next fight against each other with UFC 317 or that he was working with one of his greatest rivals.

Paul works together with Oscar de la Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions to deliver his upcoming competition with former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The fight takes place in the Honda Center of Anaheim and has Golden Boy's Cruiserweight Champion Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez in the Co-Main event.

Going the head to head with Paul is the most important event of International Fight Week; UFC 317 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ilia Topuria is confronted with Charles Oliveira's world title Double Header for the empty lightweight title that Alexandre Pantoja defends his flying weight belt against Kai Kara-France.

Dana White claims that he did not know that Jake Paul's next fight crashed with UFC 317

Despite the fact that both events are likely to decrease the public share in the ever-deading pay-per-view market, Dana White does not seem to worry too much about the coming fight by Jake Paul with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr who is going against each other with his large Las Vegas showcase.

International Fight Week is often called the 'Super Bowl' of the UFC, with a series of events prior to the big show on Saturday. But there seems to be a real buzz building around Paul and his fight with former middleweight world champion Chavez Jr.

But with Bloody Elbow, White did not seem too interested, and did not claim to know that the fight was on and even asking who will be Paul's opponent. “I don't even know,” he said. “I didn't even know he fought, so I'm so worried about it.”

Asked if he thought it was a 'good fight' for Paul, who is often criticized for his level of opponent, White replied that it was an 'interesting' match and repeated: 'I didn't even know that.'

When Bloody Elbow made him aware that De la Hoya was involved in the promotion, he answered “No F – Ining Way” before he burned the event an “S -Show”.

Dana White Shreds Oscar de la Hoya after false claim about Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford

The feud between White and De la Hoya has been brewing for years, with the boxing legend once even made the switch to MMA to promote a show. It is still raging to this day, where the first shots makes at the last every chance he gets.

De la Hoya recently claimed that the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford Fight will take place on the day of September 13 on Netflix. This would be so to prevent a collision with the UFC event of Noche in Texas that evening, although White it says that this is false information.

“How the F – would he know?” White asked when the idea was put to him. “It's not true. So you say that if we were talking about it and that some people would do that [be upset]Does De La Hoya count? I mean, come on.

“It is not that there is a rivalry, the la Hoya is just a shower bag, there is a big difference between that and rivalry … Some of these guys I have great relationships [Bob] Arum and boys like that.

“Listen, we are going to do what we do, we are going ahead and we do almost everything we say we are going to do, we get it done. I don't look at someone like a rival or we are going to get this guy out or something, people in the boxing company don't work too well.”
