Jon Jones responded to Daniel Cormier who praised him after his retirement of MMA.
On Saturday Jones confirmed that his career is over after Dana White broke the news at UFC Baku.
Daniel Cormier initially called his old rival a pick -uper for retiring and avoiding a collision with Tom Aspinall.
The UFC Hall of Famer, however, then made a confession about their two-field rivalry.

Jon Jones responds to rare Daniel Cormier LOF
Jones opened Cormier when they first fought for slightly heavyweight gold on UFC 182 in January 2015.
In July 2017, Jones won their rematch by spreading 'DC' with a head-staircase and follow-up bumps.
The result of the UFC 214 was overthrown when Jones failed a drug test and was temporarily banned from MMA – but Cormier still gives his arch enemy the honor for beating the very best version of him.
“Apart from everything else, all things outside the octhoek, he won every time he was fighting a man, one on one, and he defeated me in Anaheim,” Cormier told ESPN MMA.
“I can tell you this without a doubt. I defeated Stipe Miocic, I became the StrikeForce heavyweight champion, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. I was never better than that time in Anaheim.
“That was the best I've ever been, and he hit me, and that's why I will always respect him because of his skills and what he did in the Octagon.”
Jones came across a clip of Cormier's comments and shared it with his Instagram story.
“Rare W,” he scored the post when he got some unexpected praise from his former enemy.
Daniel Cormier expects Jon Jones to make a comeback
Cormier believes that Jones's pension was activated by a desire to avoid Aspinall.
If the new heavyweight loses King, Cormier expects we will see Jones return from retirement.
“I really feel that if Tom loses, he will come back,” he added.
“It's crazy for me, because that will only make it worse.
“I don't know if this is tactic because of the UFC. I don't know if this is frustration with Jon Jones. I don't know what this is. Does it feel like the end? I hope it does that, because if he gives it up for his legacy, he doesn't want to beat up there from boys who can pass Tom Aspinall.
“They gave him the money, they gave him everything, and he would still not do it.”
