Anderson Silva sent Jon Jones a sincere message after his shock UFC pension last Saturday.
After postponing his comeback to the Octagon for a few months, Dana White announced last Saturday that Jon Jones officially retired from the UFC.
And with that, Tom Aspinall has been upgraded to the undisputed heavyweight champion after waiting for Jones to return, and has sworn that he will get the division moving again, so he has a huge goal.
Although Jones's pension post was hijacked on social media by fans who continued to call him a duck, he scored a 'rare W' only a few days later when his career was credited by his greatest rival Daniel Cormier.

Although Jones is generally considered the greatest hunter of all time, his career was filled with controversy, from suspensions for failed drug tests to suspensions for his actions outside the cage.
And because he is one of the greatest battle sports stars of all time, his tribute of fellow athletes have come in since his retirement.
Demetrious Johnson, who is also in the goat conversation, was not as supportive as he wondered why Jones did not fought against Aspinall.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, on the other hand, declared Jones as the greatest hunter of all time and thanked him for inspiring millions around the world.
Another hunter who consider many UFC fans as the greatest hunter of all time is Anderson Silva, and the Brazilian has responded to Jones' retirement with a genuine message.
“My brother, thanks for every magical moment. Your dominance in the cage is unparalleled, and this marks the end of another legendary era,” Silva said.

Although he retired at the UFC, it is unclear whether the 37-year-old will return to the combat sports in any capacity, because he is the co-owner of String Promotion Dirty Boxing Championship.
Only a few days after his official retirement, however, Jones announced that he has signed a deal with Ketone-IQ while he wants to create a 'true legacy'.
