Daniel Cormier quickly backtracks on critical reaction to Jon Jones’ retirement… ‘I have softened’

UFC legend Daniel Cormier has his view of Jones' controversial decision to retire.

The MMA community is still in hot discussion about the important development in the heavyweight division after Dana White announced that Jones had retired.

Jones' avoidance of Tom Aspinall and the uniting heavyweight titles did not falter during a period of 19 months of the weight class with two champions. That resulted in considerable criticism and even a viral petition in which the UFC was called to strip Jones.

And it was not only the fan base that was frustrated by the delay in Jones who made his decision officer.
