UFC star Michael Chandler has delivered work behind the scenes to set up a future in the WWE.
Chandler has had a career of UPS and Downs since he joined the UFC five years ago after three title government in Bellator.
The American has only won two of his seven fights in the Octagon and lost to Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier. Since the debut of Chandler on Hooker wins, he has only raised his hand against Tony Ferguson.
Recently, Chandler's one-sided loss for Paddy Pimblett left him on a three-field loss of Skid and far from title conflicts in the lightweight division. But even in the defeat it can never be said that Chandler is not entertained.
That characteristic would undoubtedly be useful for a career in a professional struggle, something where the new connection of the UFC with WWE could pave the way.

Michael Chandler spoke with Triple H about a WWE 'contract'
The finances of the UFC and WWE were merged under one banner after Endeavor – the parent company of the UFC since 2016 – acquired the Pro Wrestling promotion in 2023.
Under the single TKO entity, the MMA and wrestling organizations have promoted each other's events and stars, as a result of which questions are asked about athletes who may have a easier way to cross.
Among those who have long been intrigued by the possibility is Chandler. And based on what he told the Schmo in a recent interview, the 39-year-old did what he can do to set up a WWE-Tougomst behind the scenes.
“I spoke with Triple H about my WWE contract, so we try to make that happen,” said Chandler.
“He knows that I am a fan of WWE and him and the brand. He is clearly a fan of what I bring to the table from an entertainment position, which I can do on the microphone.
“He knows that I want that door to be open, and I think he wants that door to be open,” added Chandler.
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is a former WWE star and the current Chief Content Officer of the company.
Michael Chandler already has WWE -Promo -experience
Even for those who are not familiar with MMA, Chandler would not be a new face for WWE fans if he would sign with the organization in the future.
'Iron Mike' appeared memorable on a WWE broadcast while attending an episode of February 2024 from Monday Night Raw in the Honda Center of Anaheim.
Chandler delivered a passionate promo that called Conor McGregor. That matchup was later booked for the summer, but fell after the Irishman withdrew due to a toe injury.
The veteran hunter has delivered similar microphone work in the Octagon, so many fans called for a WWE stint.
A WWE company would place Chandler in strong company, with people such as Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley also career in both MMA and Pro Wrestling.
