Jon Jones tipped for a surprise career move that might catch fans off guard after UFC retirement

A former Two-Division UFC champion thinks that a career in Hollywood is on the maps for Jon Jones.

The 37-year-old recently ended his career, with Dana White announced the pension of Jones after a phone call with the now Formator UFC Heavyweight Champion last weekend.

The resident of Rochester only registered one defense of the heavyweight title in more than two years, and that did not meet the then interimal title holder Tom Aspinall. 'Bones' often pushed calls away to unite the belts, even laughing at a viral petition in which the UFC is called to strip Jones.

With that in mind, the light heavyweight legend by many in the fan base did not say the most precious farewell. Nevertheless, most will undoubtedly still be intrigued by what awaits us for the MMA goat candidate.

A recent suggestion from another former Two-Division UFC champion could come as a surprise …

Today I officially announce my pension from the UFC. This decision comes after a lot of reflection and I want to take the time to express my deepest gratitude for the journey I have experienced over the years.

From the first time I stepped into the Octagon, my goal was to …

Henry Cejudo says that Jon Jones could pursue Hollywood -career after UFC pension

Ex-Bantamweight and flight weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo recently responded to the pension confirmation of Jones during an episode of his podcast of Pound 4 pound next to Kamaru Usman.

'Triple C' launched an avid defense of Jones' decision to walk away, which suggests that he could stimulate his income with new companies away from the cage.

One of Cejudo, interesting, was a potential career in the film industry.

“There are so many opportunities and doors open for Jon that people have no idea,” said Cejudo.

“There is real estate, he is an ambassador for large companies … I mean, there is Hollywood. There is films, man. Jon has that persona where he might be able to come to Hollywood.

“There are easier ways to make money (then fight) for a man like Jon if he has the right people who push him,” added Cejudo. “He could really earn (the same) money outside the cage, if not even anymore.”

The will of Ronda Rousey, Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre have appeared in films. Bisping was even on the set when UFC called to offer him the short -term chance that eventually saw him shock the world and became the middleweight champion.

One thing that may possibly stand in the way of a Hollywood -by -future for Jones are his frequent legal issues. The latter arose on the same night that White announced the pension of Jones, with a criminal summons accusing the UFC star of leaving the scene of an accident.

Jon Jones hits back at UFC Retirement Critics

Jones has clearly seen the critical takes that Cejudo and Usman have tackled defensive action on their podcast.

The 37-year-old hit back in a message about his Instagram stories, Bashen trying to dictate how a “adult man” should deal with his career.

“I think everyone is retiring – just not if you still dominate. Funny how that works.

“Forget personal goals, forget business companies. Some people really believe that you have to fight until they say you have enough. Wild.

“Imagine you think that an adult man should not control his own destination.”
