UFC 317 Headliner Charles Oliveira completed a remarkable turnout from Reisman to champion.
Oliveira came in 2018 with an almost even 10-8 record in the UFC, next to one no match, and he came from a TKO loss against Paul Felder. At that time, nobody predicted what would come.
'Do Bronx' started an incredible revival and won his next 11 fights. Die Run included Oliveira's title victory on Michael Chandler, successful defense against Dustin Poirier and the first round finish by Justin Gaethje.
The streak and habit of the Brazilian to prove that those who claimed to see him stop in him wrong, left him in the conversation behind the greatest light weights of all time, whose leader is the unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Gilbert Burns called Charles Oliveira 'unbeatable' against everyone except Khabib Nurmagomedov
Among those who awe for Oliveira's increase in the UFC Pick -Order, his Landman, former Welterweight Challenger Gilbert Burns.
During an interview from 2022 with Helen Yee, 'Durinho' rated how 'Bronx' would stack against the big Nurmagomedov.
Burns described his countryman as 'unbeatable' against the lightweight grid, although he had not put the retired Nurmagomedov under the same umbrella so quickly.
“Khabib is the man who did the most difficult … But he left. Like I said, Oliveira has been there since he was very young – he put himself in the fire and fights against everyone.
“I think he is currently 11-0 on this streak. And all ends, how crazy is that? And finishing boys like Justin Gaethje in the first round, Dustin Poirier in the second round. If he doesn't switch you off, he subjects you.
“I am a fan of both, but at the moment Oliveira is unbeatable,” Burns added. “I don't know. If they make that fight, Khabib is certainly different.
“But I don't know, Oliveira is currently at a different level.”
Charles Oliveira has been on its way to gold since losing the protégé of Khabib Nurmagomedov
During the same interview, Burns supported Oliveira to get the job done against the friend of Nurmagomedov and teammate Islam Makhachev.
However, that prediction did not flourish because Makhachev, instead, dominated Oliveira on the way to an entry victory in their title fight in October 2022.
The Brazilian lightweight has since followed another chance to get the title back, and that will eventually come on 28 June.
After the one -sided victory of Oliveira over Michael Chandler last November, he is confronted with Ilia Topuria for the empty belt of 155 pounds in the main event of UFC 317.
