Ilia Topuria expects to break more than one Oliveira -Hart in the Main Event of UFC 317.
After leaving the featherweight gold after just a single successful defense, Topuria will soon enter the Octagon for his chance to reach two-division Glory in the UFC.
Topuria Headlines UFC 317 against Charles Oliveira, while the couple fights for the lightweight belt that the Islam Makhachev will leave for his own shot at a second championship.
Despite the dreaded power of Topuria and unbeaten status, Oliveira has remained confidence to disturb the opportunities. But that self -confidence, says 'El Matador', led the Brazilian to make a personal judgment before he traveled to Las Vegas.
Ilia Topuria says that Charles Oliveira should not have done the UFC title promise to his children
During an episode of the UFC 317 Embedded: Vlog series, the wife of Oliveira revealed that the former lightweight champion had made a promise to his son to bring the title home after he had already filled a similar vow for his daughter.
Topuria responded during an interview with Vechtweek on the Kairouz Bros YouTube channel. Despite the fact that he always has faith in the victory, the ex-Feverweight King admitted that he would not make such promises for fear of breaking his child's heart.
On this occasion he expects this unfortunately to be the case for the Oliveira family.
“That's why I don't like to promise my children,” Topuria said. “He doesn't have to involve his children in professional things.
“Now he will have to break his heart.”
Ilia Topuria is already watching Charles Oliveira
Topuria's confidence has always been noticeably high and that trend has certainly continued in the UFC 317 Fight Week.
'El Matador' has practically laughed at every suggestion that he may not have lifted his hand at Fight Night in Las Vegas, despite the login data, the big advantage and the experience in the division of his opponent.
That means that the Spaniard was not removed to look ahead. After rejecting UFC 317 Back -up Arman Tsarukyan, Topuria recently mentioned Justin Gaethje as a title shot while speaking with Eurosport Spain.
Whether or not the UFC will share that sentiment can be seen, especially in the light of Gaethje -threatening pension when it is overlooked.
