The edition of International Fight Week this year started last Friday with Power Slap 13 and former UFC star Ronda Rousey was present for the promotion.
Last Thursday the Hall of Fame -Induction ceremony of the UFC took place and one of the hunters that was inaugurated was former women's champion, Amanda Nunes.
Although he has already been credited for her great career with a court induction, Nunes will return to the Octagon to compete against Kayla Harrison after she recently became the Bantamweight Champion Ladies.
However, it was Ronda Rousey who wrote history because he was the first woman to be admitted to the UFC Hall of Fame and she is still generally considered the greatest female star ever.

And for the huge UFC 317 event on Saturday, Dana White chose to try to build up excitement with Power Slap 13 last Friday.
Power Slap 13 contained three enormous title fights on top of the map and it was supposed to contain the first Women's Slap title ever, including Paige Vanzant, but she withdrew from her competition a few weeks ago after a scary neck injury.
Because 'Rowdy' Ronda is the very first female UFC champion ever, it would have been appropriate to see the first Power Slap Women's Champion awarded.
Although the former UFC star could not see that, she was in fact witnessing one of the most brutal blow Ko's in history.
