Jean Silva asked Dana White to be the best man at his wedding after his career-best victory over Bryce Mitchell in April, and it seems that he has accepted the offer.
Silva and his fiancé have avoided to be officially married as he builds his star power and potentially earns to the point at which they can hire the Brazilian star Belo. The singer is one of the greatest musicians in the country and would give a substantial fee to sing against a private function.
Silva, however, tells Bloody Elbow that White has agreed not only to finance his appearance, but also the entire wedding ceremony. As a result, the top ten featherweight claims, the UFC boss will perform as his best man on the day.
Jean Silva says Dana White will finance a lush wedding and Belo
After his victory over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 314 in Miami, Jean Silva Dana White called on as his best man, in exchange for getting the singer Belo during the ceremony. Silva now says that his boss has agreed, and something else.
Silva speaks on Friday with Bloody Elbow on UFC X via a translator and explained: “Not only will Dana be my best man, but he is going to pay for the wedding, he will take Belo and the wedding will be here in Las Vegas.”

In the night back in April, White seemed confused by what Silva asked before he made a vague acceptance that he would probably do it. But now the UFC star claims that it certainly happens, involved with the mega-rich MMA-Supremo.
“Yes, Dana knows it all,” Silva replied when he was asked if his boss knew he had closed such a deal. “In fact, much of it was actually his idea. After all, it is a bit difficult for him to come to Brazil.”
Jean Silva spoke with Belo about the performance at his wedding
After that fateful press conference, Silva had the opportunity to attend an Belo concert where he and his fiancé sang with him and discussed the possibility that he performed at the wedding. And it seems that he does not even need a discount now that White pays for the entire affair.
“No need for a deal,” Silva joked. “It is not necessary to have a discount for the boss. We spoke with Belo, we actually went to one of his concerts where he spoke with us and everything is ready. It all happens and it will be here at the UFC.
Silva is currently preparing for a large headliner at UFC Noche against Diego Lopes on 13 September in Texas. And then he plans to finally marry his old fiancé Carol, whom he has already signed the wedding papers, but still has to share a legitimate wedding.
